+ Project Manager

Vancouver, Canada - Full Time - Contract

Immersive Tech is looking for a Project Manager to assist us in the production of new and exciting experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Attending and leading various meetings with appropriate project stakeholders, client, third party contractors and consultants.
  • Managing the client relationship throughout the project, representing us to all parties involved with the end goal of strengthening all working relationships
  • Managing a variety of project details including contract documents, estimates and tenders, subcontracts, material and supply quotations, purchase orders, shop drawings, change management etc.
  • Preparing and monitoring project schedules, updates, job costs, cost projections, and budget revisions throughout projects.
  • Helping with additional tasks—there's always something to do!

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of project management fundamentals (Scrum, Lean and Waterfall)
  • Degree, diploma or certificate in Project Management.
  • Some experience with project management software, or ability to learn new software (we use Asana).
  • 1+ Years Work experience in a capacity dealing with external clients or customers.

Nice to Have

  • Previous work experience in a marketing environment
  • Familiarity with game development.
  • Likes escape rooms!

+ Junior Game Designer

Vancouver, Canada - Full Time - Local Candidate - Contract

Immersive Tech is looking for a Junior Game Designer to assist us in the production of new and exciting experiences.

Position Overview

Do you like playing Escape Rooms? Do you like coming up with puzzles to stump your friends? Here at Immersive Tech, we are looking for a Game Designer to assist us in the creation of new and exciting designs for Escape Rooms across the world.

Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm and document creative and challenging puzzles
  • Create concise game flows of the escape room experience
  • Work within the budget, client specifications and create an enjoyable 45-60 minute experience
  • Creating, following, updating and managing documentation.
  • Participating in design meetings with appropriate project stakeholders, client, third party contractors and consultants.

Qualifications

  • A passion for designing puzzles
  • No ego—prepare for your ideas to be thrown away.
  • Strong Documentation Skills
  • Formal education in game design process and methodologies, or examples demonstrating understanding of these principles.
  • Effectively communicate your ideas in person and within documentation
  • Completed a game project within the last 12 months.

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of construction.
  • Like escape rooms!
  • Designed real world experiences for people before.
  • Understanding of project management principles.
  • Comfortable with taking criticism when reviewing work.
  • Designed for Virtual Reality or Augmented Reality before.

+ Admin Assistant / Bookkeeper

Vancouver, Canada - Full Time - Contract

Immersive Tech is looking for an Admin Assistant to assist us in the production of new and exciting experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general bookkeeping duties, including posting information to accounting software and regularly reconciling accounts.
  • Working with management to maintain daily agenda
  • Monitor office supplies and research advantageous deals or suppliers
  • Develop and carry out an efficient documentation and filing system
  • Providing administrative support with a variety of tasks both off-site and in the office
  • Managing calendars, contacts, and organizing meetings, and provide reminders
  • Update and maintain company cashflow
  • Maintaining accurate records of receipts and expenses

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Exemplary planning and time management skills
  • Bookkeeping Diploma
  • Working knowledge of Quickbooks and Excel
  • Ability to work independently, organize workload, and pay high attention to details
  • In depth knowledge of Quickbooks, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Presentations
