Earlier in the year we were contacted by a teacher on guidance we could give to their students in France, Greece and Slovakia on the art of creating escape rooms. The project was a joint collaboration between various schools and students to learn more about sustainable development and develop their English and ICT skills through the eTwinning platform. As an initiative of the European Commission, it aims to encourage European schools to collaborate using Information and Communication Technologies by providing the necessary infrastructure.
Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only the students based in France at the school Lycée Gustave Eiffel in Armentières were able to develop and test their room themselves before lockdown requirements meant they couldn’t operate the experience for their March Culture Week. We were more than happy to answer questions and provide our best tips on how to create your own escape room.
With their permission, we’re pleased to share some photos of their efforts.
What an amazing job by everyone involved. Great work!
